For the launch of Bank Otkritie’s new football arena, the campaign featured hockey legend Alexander Ovechkin — the face of the brand at the time. The unexpected crossover of a hockey star on the football field made the event playful, attention-grabbing, and full of character. Our team handled the creative concept, special events, and on-site activations.
In 2016, Ovechkin signed an endorsement deal with Bank Otkritie. As part of this agreement, he starred in a series of soccer-themed commercials, marking one of the most lucrative celebrity endorsement deals in the Russian market at the time.
